Division 5.1

According to Article 2(d) of Directive 96/48/EC the interoperability constituents are ‘any elementary component, group of components, sub-assembly or complete assembly of equipment incorporated or intended to be incorporated into a subsystem, on which the interoperability of the trans-European high-speed rail system depends either directly or indirectly’.
