Division AVERAGING PERIODS FOR EMISSIONS TO AIR

Unless stated otherwise, the averaging periods associated with the BAT-AELs for emissions to air are defined as follows.

Daily averageAverage over a period of 24 hours based on valid hourly averages from continuous measurement
Average over the sampling periodAverage value of three consecutive measurements of at least 30 minutes each
Yearly averageIn the case of continuous measurement: average of all valid hourly averages. In the case of periodic measurements: average of all ‘averages over the sampling period’ obtained during one year.
