Article 4
1.
The Community shall also contribute during the period referred to in Article 1 up to 600 000 ECU towards the financing of Mauritanian scientific and technical programmes (equipment, infrastructure, etc.) to improve information on the fishery resources within Mauritania's fishing zone.
2.
The competent Mauritanian authorities shall send to the Commission a brief report on the utilization of the funds.
3.
The Community's contribution to the scientific and technical programmes shall be paid on each occasion into an account specified by Mauritania.
