Article 4 Conformity assessment of constituents

Before issuing F1a declaration of conformity referred to in Article 5 of Regulation (EC) No 552/2004, manufacturers of constituents of the systems referred to in Article 1(2) of this Regulation applying a flight message transfer protocol shall assess the conformity of these constituents in compliance with the requirements set out in Annex II.
