Section 168 (appointment of persons to carry out investigations in particular cases) is amended as follows.

In subsection (4), in paragraph (c), for “an authorised person” substitute “ a person ”.
(3)
In that subsection, after paragraph (h) insert—
“(ha)a person may have performed a controlled function without approval for the purposes of section 63A;”.
