In exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 7(1), 9(2), 13(1), 26A, 26B, 27(2) and (3), 28(2), 33(1), (3) and (5), 37(1), 40(7), 53, 55(1) and 57(4) of the Firearms Act 1968^f1 and section 17(2) and (4) of the Firearms (Amendment) Act 1988^f2, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Rules:
