In article 13 (short service award) —

(a)

in paragraphs (1) and (4) for the words “shall be entitled” substitute “shall, unless immediately before his retirement an election under article 56A(1) not to pay pension contributions had effect, be entitled”; and

(b)

in paragraphs (2) and (4) for the words “5 years'” substitute “2 years'”.
