England, Wales and Scotland

(1)

Housing for Wales is a body corporate and is in this Schedule referred to as “the Corporation”.

(2)

The Corporation is a public body for the purposes of the Prevention of Corruption Acts 1889 to 1916.

(3)

The Corporation shall not be regarded—

(a)

as the servant or agent of the Crown; or

(b)

as enjoying any status, immunity or privilege of the Crown; or

(c)

as exempt from any tax, duty, rate, levy or other charge whatsoever, whether general or local;

and its property shall not be regarded as property of, or held on behalf of, the Crown.
