Section 100 Short title, commencement and extent.

(1)
This Act may be cited as the Insurance Companies Act 1982.
(2)
Subject to Schedule 4 to this Act, this Act shall come into force at the expiration of the period of three months beginning with the date on which it is passed.
(3)
This Act F1 extends to Northern Ireland.
