Paragraph 1 InterpretationI1

In this Schedule—

• “closing date”, in relation to a transition member, means 31st March 2022^f1;

• “transition date”, in relation to a transition member, means the day after the closing date;

• “transition member” means a person—

  1. (a)

     who is a member of a pre-2022 scheme by virtue of the person’s pensionable service under that scheme before the transition date; and

  2. (b)

     who is a member of this scheme by virtue of the person’s pensionable service under this scheme.
