LOCAL GOVERNMENT, SCOTLAND

Coming into force 1st September 1990

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 45, 49A, 50 and 235(1) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973f1, and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations:

1973 c. 65; section 45 was amended by the Local Government and Planning (Scotland) Act 1982 (c. 43), section 60(1)(a); section 49A was inserted, and section 50 amended, by the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980 (c. 65), section 26, sub-sections (3) and (4) respectively; section 235(1) contains a definition of “prescribed” relevant to the exercise of the statutory powers under which these Regulations are made.
