The Local Government Act 1988 is amended as follows.

(2)

In Schedule 2 (public authorities to which section 17 of that Act applies)—

(a)

for “A metropolitan county passenger transport authority.” substitute “ An Integrated Transport Authority for an integrated transport area in England. ”,

(b)

in the entry relating to a Passenger Transport Executive, after “an Executive for” insert “ an integrated transport area or ”.
