Subject to paragraph (2), Rules 25A and 31(2)(a) of the principal Rules are hereby revoked.

Rule 25A, and as appropriate Rule 31(2)(a), of the principal Rules, shall continue to apply to any application under Article 81(2) of the Police and Criminal Evidence (Northern Ireland) Order 1989 which was commenced before 8th April 1996.
