Section 27ZA Circumstances in which a notice of marriage is not to be recorded in the marriage registerF1F5

The superintendent registrar shall not F2record a notice of marriage in the marriage register in a case where any of the following requirements is applicable but is not complied with—

(a)

a requirement imposed by or under any of the following provisions of this Act—

  • section 27A(2) or (3);

  • F3section 27A(3A);

  • section 27A(4);

  • section 27B(2);

  • section 27E(3) to (7);

  • section 27E(8);

  • section 28B(1);

  • F4section 28B(1A);

  • section 28C(4) or (6);

(b)

the requirement imposed by section 19(2) of the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc) Act 2004.
