The reference to regulation 3 of the Management Regulations in—

(a)

the definition of “installation” in—

paragraph (1) of regulation 2 of the Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire and Explosion, and Emergency Response) Regulations 1995^f1; and

(iii)

paragraph (1) of regulation 2 of the Offshore Installations and Wells (Design and Construction, etc.) Regulations 1996^f2; and

(b)

the definition of “offshore installation” in—

(i)

section 12(1) of the Mineral Workings (Offshore Installations) Act 1971^f3; and

(ii)

regulation 2 of the Offshore Installations and Pipeline Works (First-Aid) Regulations 1989^f4,

shall be construed as a reference to regulation 3 of the Management Regulations as amended by these Regulations.
