Article 19 Review
The Secretary of State must from time to time—
carry out a review of this Order,
set out the conclusions of the review in a report, and
publish the report.
In carrying out the review the Secretary of State must, so far as is reasonable, have regard to how the 2009 Directive (relevant provisions of which are implemented by means of this Order) is implemented in other member States.
The report must in particular—
set out the objectives intended to be achieved by this Order,
assess the extent to which those objectives are achieved, and
assess whether those objectives remain appropriate and, if so, the extent to which they could be achieved with a system that imposes less regulation.
The first report under this article must be published by 31st December 2015.
Reports under this article are afterwards to be published at intervals not exceeding five years.
