This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I.1991/786 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 5(3) of the Pensions (Increase) Act 1971^f1 and now vested in them^f2, and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:
