In so far as they extend to England and Wales the Regulations amend the definition of “the Directive" in S.I. 1995/887 so as to implement—

•

Commission Directive 2000/10/EC (OJ No. L57, 2.3.2000, p.28);

•

Commission Directive 2000/49/EC (OJ No. L197, 3.8.2000, p.32) (as from 1st July 2001);

•

In so far as they extend to England and Wales, the Regulations revoke the Plant Protection Products (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations 1999 (S.I. 1999/3430, which made amendments to S.I. 1995/887 and 1995/888) which are consolidated in these Regulations.
