Regulation 4 Amendments to the 2003 Regulations

Regulation 5 of the 2003 Regulations shall be amended as follows.

In paragraph (1) before “A chief officer” there shall be inserted “Subject to paragraph (8),”

The following paragraph is inserted—

“(8)

In its application to the National Crime Squad—

(a)

paragraph (1) shall have effect as if the reference to “a chief officer” was omitted and a reference to “the Service Authority for the National Crime Squad” inserted; and

(b)

paragraph (7) shall have effect as if sub-paragraph (a) was omitted.”
