Paragraph 89 Water Resources Act 1991I1

Paragraph 1 of Schedule 22 to the Water Resources Act 1991^f1 (protection for particular undertakings) is amended as follows.

In sub-paragraph (4)(a) for the words “the Post Office” are substituted the words “a universal service provider (so far as it is his undertaking in relation to the provision of a universal postal service)”.

After sub-paragraph (4) is inserted—

“(4A)

In sub-paragraph (4)(a) above “universal service provider” has the same meaning as in the Postal Services Act 2000; and the reference to the provision of a universal postal service shall be construed in accordance with that Act.”.
