Article 57 Savings (Part IX)C1

(1)

Nothing in this Part shall affect the jurisdiction of the High Court in proceedings—

(a)

to enforce a lessor's right of re-entry or forfeiture;

(b)

to enforce a mortgagee's right of possession in a case where the former tenancy was not binding on the mortgagee.

(2)

Nothing in this Part shall affect the operation of—

(a)

section 19 of the Defence Act 1842 1842 c.94;

(b)

section 91 of the Lands Clauses Consolidation Act 1845 1845 c.18;

(c)

section 5(1) of the Criminal Law Amendment Act 1912 1912 c.20.
