Rule 31 Maintenance of order and discipline

Order and discipline shall be maintained in a centre, but with no more restriction than is required in the interests of security and well-ordered community life.

In the control of trainees, officers shall seek to influence them through their own example and leadership, and to enlist their willing co-operation.
