Article 4 Amendment of the Diseases of Animals (Northern Ireland) Order 1981I1

in sub-paragraphs (1) and (2) for “cattle”, in each place it occurs, substitute “susceptible animals”;

in sub-paragraph (3) for “head of cattle”, in each place it occurs, substitute “susceptible animal”;

after sub-paragraph (3) insert—

“(4)

In this paragraph, “susceptible animal” means animal of the genus Ovis, Capra, Gazella, Bison, Bos or Bubalus, or of the species Syncerus cafer.”;

the existing text becomes sub-paragraph (1);

in that sub-paragraph for “horse”, in each place it occurs, substitute “susceptible animal”;

in that sub-paragraph for “horses” substitute “susceptible animals”;

after that sub-paragraph insert—

“(2)

In this paragraph, “susceptible animal” means animal of the family Equidae or Camelidae,or of the genus Capra.”.
