Section 9 Construction, citation and extent.

Scotland

(1)

This Act may be cited as the Spray Irrigation (Scotland) Act 1964.

(2)

This Act shall be construed as one with the M1Rivers (Prevention of Pollution) (Scotland) Act 1951, and the reference in section F191(1)(a)(iii) of the M2Control of Pollution Act 1974 to any provision of that Act shall be construed as including a reference to a licence granted under this Act.

(3)

This Act shall come into operation at the expiration of the period of one month beginning with the day on which it is passed.

(4)

This Act shall extend to Scotland only.
