Section 9 Short title, repeals, commencement and extent.I1
(1)
This Act may be cited as the Sunday Trading Act 1994.
I2(2)
The enactments mentioned in Schedule 5 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
(3)
The following provisions of this Act—
sections 2 to 5,
subsection (2) of this section, and
Schedules 3, 4 and 5,
shall not come into force until the appointed day (as defined in section 1 above).
(4)
This Act extends to England and Wales only.
