Section 16 Welsh Ministers' power of direction

I1(1)

The Welsh Ministers may give directions to the Commissioner.

(2)

But the Welsh Ministers may not direct the Commissioner in relation to the following matters—

I2(a)

giving a compliance notice to a person under Chapter 6 of Part 4 (including the content of a compliance notice to be given to a person);

(b)

Part 5 (enforcement of standards);

(c)

Part 6 (the freedom to use Welsh).

(3)

The Commissioner must comply with directions given by the Welsh Ministers.
