In section 121 (orders and regulations made by the Secretary of State)—

(a)

omit subsections (1) and (2); and

(b)

after subsection (3) insert—

“(4)

Any statutory instrument made by the Secretary of State pursuant to this Act shall not have effect in Jersey until it is registered in the Royal Court of Jersey and where any such statutory instrument is so registered, it shall have effect on the day following the day of such registration or on the day specified in the instrument for its coming into force, whichever is the later.”.
