Article 2 Administrative provisions for GB type-approval of a vehicle with regard to hydrogen propulsionF6

The manufacturer or his representative shall submit to the type-approval authority the application for F1GB type-approval of a vehicle with regard to hydrogen propulsion.

The application shall be drawn in accordance with the model of the information document set out in Part 1 of Annex I.

The manufacturer shall provide the information set out in Part 3 of Annex I for periodic requalification by inspection during the service life of the vehicle.

If the relevant requirements set out in Part 1 of Annex III or Part 1 of Annex IV, Annex V and Annex VI are met, the approval authority shall grant F2a GB type-approval and issue a type-approval number in accordance with the numbering system set out in F3Annex IV to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683.

F4The approval authority may not assign the same number to another vehicle type.

For the purposes of paragraph 3, the type-approval authority shall deliver F5a GB type-approval certificate established in accordance with the model set out in Part 2 of Annex I.
