Article 3 Administrative provisions for GB component type-approval of hydrogen components and systemsF6

The manufacturer or his representative shall submit to the type-approval authority the application for F1GB component type-approval for a type of hydrogen component or hydrogen system.

The application shall be drawn up in accordance with the model of the information document set out in Part 1 of Annex II.

If the relevant requirements set out in Annex III or Annex IV are met, the approval authority shall grant F2a GB component type-approval and issue a type-approval number in accordance with the numbering system set out in F3Annex IV to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683.

F4The approval authority may not assign the same number to another type of hydrogen component or hydrogen system.

For the purposes of paragraph 2, the type-approval authority shall deliver F5a GB type-approval certificate established in accordance with the model set out in Part 2 of Annex II.
