Section 3 Application to industrial societies, &c.

F1(1)

This Act shall apply to any F2 ... friendly benefit, building F3 ... society incorporated by or in pursuance of any Act of Parliament F4, and to any registered society, as if the society were a company.

F5(2)

Registered society” means—

(a)

a registered society within the meaning of the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014, or

(b)

a society registered or deemed to be registered under the Industrial and Provident Societies Act (Northern Ireland) 1969.
