The Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority, with the approval of the Secretary of State in accordance with section 8(1) of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004^f1 (“the Act”), makes these Rules in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) and (2)(h) of the Act^f2.

In accordance with paragraph 10(3) of Schedule 2 to the Act^f3, the Authority has consulted with the relevant Northern Ireland department^f4.
