Section 97 (tenant's improvements require consent) is amended as follows.
(2)
In subsection (1), after “secure tenancy” insert “ to which this section applies ”.
(3)
After subsection (1) insert—
“(1A)This section applies to—
(a)a secure tenancy of a dwelling-house in Wales, or
(b)an old-style secure tenancy of a dwelling-house in England.”
(4)
Omit subsection (5).
