Section 127 of that Act (voluntary provision of physical data) is amended as follows.
In subsection (1), for “information about his external physical characteristics” substitute “ biometric information ”.
In subsection (2)(a) and (b), before “information” insert “ biometric ”.
In subsection (3)—
after paragraph (a) insert—
“(aa)biometric information”, and”;
omit the “and” at the end of paragraph (b);
omit paragraph (c).
