Regulation 19 Appointment of Independent PersonI1

The arrangements made under regulation 18 must include the appointment of an independent person.

The independent person must take part in the investigation of the representation by the local authority and the independent investigator under regulation 18.

The independent person must take part in any discussions which are held by the local authority about the action to be taken in light of its investigation of the representation.
