The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 6(4), 7(4), 17A(1), 35(1), 36(2)(a) and (4)(a) of, and paragraph 14(b) of Schedule 1 to, the Jobseekers Act 1995^f1 and sections 4(6)(b) and 42(2) and (3) of the Welfare Reform Act 2012^f2:

The Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that the proposals in respect of these Regulations should not be referred to it^f3.
