Paragraph 47 Local liaison committeeI1

The authorised development must not commence until the undertaker has established a committee to liaise with local residents, businesses and organisations in relation to the construction and operation of the authorised development.

The committee must include representatives of the undertaker.

The undertaker must invite the planning authority and Selby District Council to nominate representatives to be members of the committee.

The undertaker may invite such other businesses and organisations as it thinks appropriate to nominate representatives to be members of the committee.

If there already exists a local liaison committee in relation to development on the Order land, that committee may, with the agreement of the planning authority and Selby District Council perform the functions of the committee to be established under subparagraph (1); and in that case the duty to establish a committee under subparagraph (1) does not apply.
